Trojan Horse

Trojan is the name of a stratagem , where the enemy is lured to even close one army behind its defenses. Originally devised by Odysseus (see the Trojan horse ).

In computer jargon refers Trojan a malicious computer program (also called malware ) that is stored in a seemingly useful program, for example. a false security. The effect is typically to install a backdoor on the victim’s computer so that the “enemy” closed behind the (virtual) defenses. As in Greek mythology called the warlike content of “computer-horse” for the Trojans. The most famous computer Trojans are server program Back Orifice .
